They went from long distance love to wedded bliss!
They met in Austin Texas while Jonathan was moving a friend to Austin. He was from Ohio, and Grace was living in Austin. They talked for several months before deciding to meet in Las Vegas for a friends birthday. They hit it off and fell in love and Jonathan moved to Austin Texas.
The proposal was pretty sweet. Here is Grace’s story:
“We went to Clearwater Florida for a vacation. Jonathan woke up at 8:00 am to “move our car so it wouldn’t get towed” all the while writing will you marry me in the sand. He then called Grace and woke her up and told her to look off the 6th-floor balcony where she saw the writing. I said yes, and he told me to look to my right, and there was a ring box with two baby carrots in it. He then walked up to greet his fiancé and gave her his real ring.”
Since Vegas was where they fell in love, that was the chosen location for their Las Vegas destination wedding. They tied the knot at the beautiful grounds of Wedgewood at Stallion Mountain Golf Club.
The getting ready took place at MGM Signature Suites. Grace chose a San Patrick mermaid gown with gorgeous beaded embroidery. The bridesmaids showcased floor length eggplant dresses. Meanwhile, Jonathan was looking super sharp on his rich blue tuxedo and bow tie. All the groomsman were matching with fun, colorful socks. And the best man was his dad!
Grace and Jonathan shared their heartfelt vows right at sunset, and it was followed by a reception at Wedgewood. The day was filled with family, friends, fun, laughter and dancing just the way they had imagined.
