Alan is Hawaiian and moved to Japan a few years ago. That’s where he met his future wife; Juri. This fun and laid back couple picked a contemporary venue that provides spectacular views of the Las Vegas skyline, and impressive architecture for their wedding. Their M Resort wedding was a special time for them, as this was the first time Juri was meeting Alan’s family.
Juri started the day getting pampered up at the Resort Spa and soon after, headed to the suite to get ready for the day. Most of her bridesmaid flew from Japan to join her on her wedding day. Juri loves shine and sparkles, so her bridesmaid’s dresses were gold, rose-gold, and silver with sequins – a different color for each one of them. Alan, along with his groomsmen, dressed in the “formal Hawaiian” style, with comfy white shoes that looked super hip.
They shared a first look early in the day, so we had time to stroll around the resort and create photos of them and their entourage. The exchange of vows was done poolside, at sunset, where the blue hues of the pool contrasted beautifully against the warmth of the building.
Following the ceremony, guests headed to the Vue – a private space at The M Resort with a terrace overlooking the pool. As a personal detail for their table decor, the couple made gold, white and silver origami birds. During their Grand Entrance, both Juri and Alan had a lighted Michael Jackson glove on, which flashed away as they delivered fun moves and big laughs. The night continued with food, drinks, and lots of dancing. Here are some images from the day.
