Southern Highlands Wedding & St. Peter Church – Olivia & Kyle

Olivia was working as an event and wedding planner herself when she chose their Southern Highlands wedding – it is a stunning golf course venue on the South side of town where her good friend was managing.

These two high school sweethearts are both originally from New York but have been living in Las Vegas for the last few years. Both Olivia & Kyle are very focused and dedicated to achieving their dreams, which in her case happened just a few months before the wedding; Olivia was accepted into the Henderson Police. We found out that after the wedding that Kyle also achieved his big dream and was accepted in the Fire Department. Kudos to this amazing duo!

Let’s get to the wedding day! Olivia got ready at her parents home near Lake Las Vegas with her bridesmaids. Kyle got ready at his home with his groomsmen. The ceremony took place at St Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Henderson, which has been standing for over 70 years – even before there was Henderson.

We then headed to Southern Highlands Golf Club for cocktail hour and reception. The club is located in the foothills of Las Vegas with a beautiful Tuscan style clubhouse and unmatched views of the Las Vegas Strip. Olivia & Kyle braved out the Las Vegas heat in late July for some outdoor portraits but we were quickly back inside. Many guests flew from New York to be part of this event, and what a fun crowd they were. After dinner, everyone was out on the dance floor including grandpa and grandma. Olivia & Kyle are so genuine, upbeat and kind, we couldn’t love them more. Check out some images from their Southern Highlands wedding below.
