This Palms wedding at the View has tons of personality and a lot of love. Let me introduce you to Amy & Seth. They met online, and their first date was at Nine Fine Irishman, at New York New York – they have been enjoying life and beers together ever since. So, the perfect day for a wedding celebration was St. Patrick’s Day.
Their wedding was supposed to take place at the Palms Sky Villas, but all suites were placed under construction at the time of the wedding, and it was changed to the View at the Palms – which we think it was just as amazing.
The Palms Resort was also the getting ready location; Amy was sporting sparkling converse, and pink dinosaur socks for a comfortable and fun look. Now, check out her their wedding rings – they are as unique as they come. Amy’s engagement ring was her mom’s wedding ring, uniquely built, full of texture, with diamonds and emeralds; like it was made for St. Patty’s Day. Seth’s wedding band, in turn, was a mixture of titanium, dinosaur bones, and a myriad of other materials I can’t remember. It looks super cool, it’s light and durable. Seth looked sharp in his Air Force dress blues, and so did his sister. She was his “Best Woman,” while Amy had her best friend as her “Man of Honor.”
The View made the perfect location for a first look, and as you can see, it’s easy to feel the love between these two. We then headed out to NYNY for photos with the bridal party and wrapped up at Bellagio and Paris.
As guests arrived at the ceremony site, they were greeted by a table with a green compact instant film camera, stickers, and colorful pens, so guests could snap a photo and create their art for the sign-in book. This table was right by the giant dinosaur wearing a green hat and feather boa – a great photo op.
Their ceremony took place overlooking the Strip and surrounded by city views on all sides. No formal aisle, the sign just said: “no seats, no sides, just watch for the father and the bride.” As Amy’s dad approached with her, Seth saluted him. The vows were quick but sweet and heartfelt.
As the sun set, the city lights lit up, and the party was on. The reception space featured lounge style sitting and high tops for a casual feel. The crowd was lively, and the night’s highlights were full of love and laughter. Here are a few photos from the day.
