The first thing that comes to the minds of most people when planning a classic Las Vegas destination wedding is the famous Vegas chapels. Brittany and Ted wanted Vegas, fun, and Elvis, so it only made sense to choose a chapel, right?! Not always. The city offers some different options for classic Vegas that a lot of people are not aware, like the Neon Museum. Now, add some bright and fun colors, an upside down cake, a sparkly silver gown and now it’s classic Vegas with a twist.
For another twist on the traditional party, all of the events locations were a surprise to all of the guests. And let us tell you – it wasn’t an easy secret to keep, as all guests were dying to find out the answer. We are happy to finally be able to share this information with everyone.
So thank you to Janice Board of Spectacular Soirees, all Brittany and Ted had to do is name the city, and all of the details were carefully selected to suit their bright and fun personality. They opted for a bright color palette of turquoise and green. The cake created by It’s a piece of cake was a piece of engineering in itself. And Brittany’s opulent and sparkly silver dress reminded me of the Great Gatsby.
The guests were picked up at their hotel and taken to the Neon Museum for the ceremony. Amusement expressions took over as they strolled around to check out some of the historical Vegas signs. String players welcomed the guests into the ceremony site at the Neon Boneyard, which was conducted by no other than Elvis. Brittany and Ted, sang, cheered, and laughed along with Elvis during the ceremony.
For the surprise location number two, all guests were taken up to the 104th floor of the tallest building in the west of the Mississippi – the Stratosphere. Offering spectacular city views of all the glitz and flash of the Strip, the celebration continued with dinner, lots of dancing and a couple of songs by Brittany’s dad, who is a singer.
Congrats to you Brittany and Ted with lots of love!
